The easy guide to wearing leopard print
Covering everything from minimalist style to maximalist, and those who want try this trend from scratch.
One of the biggest trends of the year has been leopard print. For many of us leopard works already as a key neutral to our wardrobes or that added oomph to basic outfits.
For others the idea of testing the leopard print fashion waters seems scary and overwhelming. The beauty about this trend is it never really dates. So in terms of shopping for items that are considered staples and gives you a sense of longevity compared to other trends out there. It’s certainly worth exploring.
Things to note:
Leopard print doesn’t just have to be tan, beige and black colour combinations.

Let’s start with some easy ways of introducing pieces into your wardrobe :
The Leopard Print Skirt:
There are SO many options out there currently for skirt fans from mini to midi lengths. Wrap skirts or pleated A-line skirts are a great way to introduce leopard print into your wardrobe for every day style or dressed up for weekend style.
If you’re used to more minimalist style or block colour style, opting for a skirt means the print is away from your face so it gives you a sense of balance still.

Outerwear :
Pick carefully when it comes to outerwear to cosy pieces. What do you have in your wardrobe that you can create at least 5 looks with already from your wardrobe or something you know you will easily rewear again and again.
When it comes to bomber styles and coats you have a lot to work with from skirts, dress to simply adding oomph to an all black outfit.

Accessories lovers:
This is something I try get people to think about before making a purchase. If you’ve never worn leopard print before - think about how you want to incorporate it into your wardrobe and what you have currently. Think practically about what handbags serve you best for day to day life.
And in terms of shoes - do you want something to dress up Block colours in your wardrobe or something subtle and comfortable like in a trainer form ( my favourite way to include leopard print)
